I don’t know why, we just felt compelled to give a good account of the whole pottery aspect of my career. I also have other areas that are not represented yet, but in time they might come out. Selling pottery isn’t a real interest for me, but there is still a lot in storage. I like the idea of getting them out into the world. I remember a day in the late 1970’s when I just happened to accompany an acquaintance to their friend’s house. On a shelf along with a collection of ceramics was a bowl of mine from a year or two earlier. It was a surprising affirmation of my desire to create things, and to release them to the world. I find it satisfying to be a part of it.
