It was very clear to (us) that another “war” was a massive mistake. The photos have a sense of history to them now. I wonder what the historical interest might one day be? Do I need to wait until the troops are pulled out and the current executive branch incarcerated?

I believe I would change that last sentence to “finally” incarcerated. It is happening at last, but it may take up to 3 more years to scoop out the whole bunch of them.
